Below is the current information on our Association tournament being held in 2010 in Dublin, Ireland with a listing of the hotel that will house many of the students attending the tournament and also where the actual tournament will be held.

I know it will be both exciting as the last ones were in England for all who traveled with me the last times.
We are working on more fund raisers to help support all the students that attend the tournament as well.
Get ready and lets put all of our talents and thoughts towards once again taking as many students as possible.
The last two tournaments both here in the states and England had some of our schools students competing on the U.S team in both years and I wish to keep that up again in 2010!!
I know that there are very few Martial Art Schools in this area that even compete as we do allover the tri-state area in open tournaments and even fewer that can say they have students that compete on a international level as we do.

RE: Preliminary Information for the 8th I.M.A Tang Soo Do world championships - June 26th 2010, Dublin, Ireland, (only 19 months to go)
As you may or may not be aware Kwan Chang Nim has granted me the privilege of hosting the above mentioned championships. We are releasing information so that Instructors, students, friends and families can start preparing financially for this major I.M.A Tang Soo Do event.
Hotels in and around the Dublin area can be very expensive during the holiday season, however from June 24th to June 27th 2010, we have managed to negotiate reduced rates at the Regency Hotel, Swords Rd, Whitehall, Dublin 9. TEL:00353(0)18373544.
The Hotel is approximately 10 mins from Dublin Int Airport and is 3KM from Dublin city centre. A shuttle service to and from the Hotel is available, please enquire when making your booking. However transport will be provided from the airport to the hotel and visa versa, but will only cater for the bulk of people arriving together, other wise a taxi or shuttle service will be the best mode of transport. The accommodation is standard, however upgrades to executive rooms are available. Full use of the hotels swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and fitness studio are available to all guests. The regency Hotel will be the championship Hotel and will be where most people will be staying. A credit card booking will secure your room(s) and you can start making your bookings now. Hotel booking will be taking up to April 2010. When booking please state karate Tournament to get the reduced rates.
Brief schedule (which is subject to change) will be an International Dan testing on Friday 25th June 2010 followed by a masters evaluation class with kwan Chang Nim which all masters are requested to attend. On Saturday June 26th 2010 the 8th I.M.A International Tang Soo Do championships will be held at the Regency Hotels conversance centre and full schedule of events will follow. In the evening a sit down 2 course gala style dinner (main course and desert) followed by (tea/coffee) will be held in the Hotels banqueting suite, this will be followed by a disco/dance spaces are limited, hence searing will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The costs for the Hotel are as follows and are inclusive of full breakfast.

Double room (2 people sharing) 100 per night (kids under lOy is free room only)

Please note that any transport provided will only leave to and from the championship Hotel. Also please note that the majority of Hotels in Ireland charge on a per person basis as apposed to per room.
